If you are looking for Proverbs 2 Bible study questions, this set is built to help a small group, Sunday class or personal reader work through the whole chapter from start to finish. The questions move from what the text says, to what it means, to how it should shape daily choices. Each one comes with a leader’s note so you can guide discussion without preparing a separate summary.
Proverbs 2 at a Glance
Proverbs 2 is written as a father’s appeal to a son. It opens with a long conditional sentence: if you receive these words and seek wisdom the way people search for buried treasure, then you will come to know the fear of the LORD. The chapter then grounds that promise in God himself, who gives wisdom and acts as a shield for those who walk with integrity.
The second half widens the picture. Wisdom guards you from people who turn away from the right path and from a seductive woman whose way leads to death. The chapter closes by contrasting the upright, who remain in the land, with the wicked, who are cut off from it.

Father, we come to you as people who want to receive your words and treasure your commandments. Turn our ears toward wisdom and bend our hearts toward understanding, so that we seek you as diligently as people search for hidden treasure. Thank you that you give wisdom, and that out of your mouth come knowledge and understanding. Guard our steps in the way of integrity and keep us from the paths of darkness. Help us walk with the upright, trusting you as our shield and our dwelling place. Amen.
